Klungkung is a region which had smallest area in Bali. The profession of most people is the farmer. Its position as a kingdom center in the past has made the arts and handicrafts develop continuously. Kamasan village, for example, is well known as a silver cup and another silver tools industrial village.
This area is interesting to be visited since it is backgrounded by rice field view and mount Agung in far away and ocean view in the front. Tourists may watch the interesting view in the Melasti ceremony.
This village is famous with its Songket industry as a village distinctive feature.
Since Belega village is famous with its bamboo industry then the interesting thing is its industry, like; bamboo chairs, bed, decoration table, cupboard, and the others. While Bona village is known with its lontar leafs industry and kecak dance.
Kamasan village is famous with silver and gold industry, shell of bullet carving and traditional puppet painting.
This area is interesting to be visited since the location is strategic in the edge of beach and tourists, sometimes, may watch traditional ceremony and bats hang up side down in the edge of cave.
In this area there are some tourism objects and water activities.
There is a cave in here, Giri Putri Cave. Since one should walk crawling there will difficult to go inside, but after 3 meters there is a wide area inside there is many stalactite and stalagmite on the cave ceiling.
Besides watching a beautiful Karang (reef) Bolong (hole) beach view, one can enjoy the white sand Penida beach.
This beach has white sand, clear sea water, various color of sea fish and various beautiful color reef as if in a beautiful garden.
Tukad Unda wild river has a 9 kilometers long and 22 obstacles, so it is suitable for white water rafting activities.
The attraction of this building is on its ceiling that decorated with artistically Kamasan traditional painting which describes a Hindus cultural philosophy.
This beach is a fisherman one and also the place to make salt traditionally. The row of fisherman’s boats and traditional hut of salt maker gives an interesting view.
