Since the middle of 90s Karangasem area especially in Tulamben has changed become a sea tourism area. Accommodation means such as; hotels, restaurants, and sea recreation was built. There are many beautiful coral reef and colorful sea fish. Although there is a cultural interaction the people in Tenganan, Bungaya, Asak, Timbrah, Bugbug, and other villages still keep their heritage traditional faith.

Putung is located in East Duda village, Karangasem. The environment is a mountain area and thick trees, mostly are the salak one. The climate is cool and fresh. Its main attraction is the amazing beautiful panorama that is a mixture between mountains and sea view.
Telagawaja is a name of a wild river in Rendang village. This river has a good potential for rafting activities since the water has never been dry although in a dry season.
The salak plantation in Sibetan is one of the tourism objects where we can watch the local people harvest Salak fruits. Besides salak plantation there is also a natural and beautiful view, spreading out of terrace plantation, and white foams of the wave in the distance.
The presence of spreading out of rice field that surrounds Tirtagangga garden, a great amount of water spring and cool air give a pleasant resting in this place.
This garden was established by King of Karangasem which was used as a resting place or a one for entertaining the important guests. The building structure is exclusive and glorious, a mixture between Balinese and Europe architecture.
