Badung is divided in the 8 sub districts and 40 modern villages, but in the traditional order it has 119 villages. The community in south Badung, as a tourism area, is denser than the north one. The south Badung, such as; Kuta, Kerobokan, Nusa Dua, Tanjung, and Bukit Jimbaran area, as a tourism living area gives a big regional yield to this region than to another ones. The openly people’s attitude in receiving tourism industry as one of the income source has strengthened the position of Badung as a tourism destination area.

Uluwatu is located at the coral rocks hill area in south of Bali Island. Its location takes more or less 30 kilometers from Denpasar to the south across Kuta tourism area, Ngurah Rai airport in Tuban. Its environs have been grown by the bushes which are kept by domesticated monkeys and protected by the people in its environs. It is best for surfing sport.
